Implementation Consultant - Healthcare Technology, Current and ongoing requirement

Locations: Los Angeles, Phoenix, Boston, Atlanta, Toronto

Compensation: 110 to 120k as ( FTE only) must be authorized to work in the US or Canada.

Details: Leading Healthcare Systems Integrator has an immediate opening for an Implementation Consultant. Here you will be involved in all components of Software Implementation, interacting with clients, offering technical support while integrating and configuring software and hardware components to suit client's need.

Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal attributes with an ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous projects. Proven technical analytical and problem solving abilities.

Education:
Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience Master's Degree is beneficial.

Technical Knowledge:
Understand RDBMS, XML, technologies (primarily SQL Oracle or Initiate IBM Master Data Management MDM).
Java, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT and DOM.
Proven ability to understand and implement multi-component integrated solutions. Working knowledge of multi-tier architectures with internet technologies and protocols such as HTTP, HTML and J2EE.
Experience with RDBMS Database Technologies, SQL Query Writing and Tuning, Microsoft SQL Server & Oracle platforms.
Understanding of Multi-Tier Architectures and UML Modelling.
Working knowledge of Server Operating Systems Windows and Unix.
Communication protocols, TCP/IP and FTP.
Clustering and Load Balancing.

Experience:
Experience with implementation of healthcare portal or single sign on technologies
Healthcare industry knowledge: clinical workflow, messaging standards HL7 and HIPAA
Five or more years experience implementing and/or developing major clinical systems and products affiliated with provider order entry, charting, medication administration, patient safety, PACS, EMR, and Laboratory systems.

Flexibility to travel, up to 50% of time to client sites.
