Title: Information Technology Network Specialist

Location: Bishop California, a Rural area near world class fishing, hiking and skiing on the Eastern Sierra.

We are hiring an IT Network Specialist for our hospital in the beautiful Owens Valley in the Eastern Sierra area.

In this role you will provide management and administration of WANs and LANs and will function as the network security officer.

You will also research, install, evaluate and recommend hardware and software to support maximum uptime and availability, including operating systems, patches, drivers, utilities and applications.

You will act to resolve technical issues, perform problem resolution for end users, network design and documentation.

Preferred experience and knowledge includes: Cisco network equipment experience and Microsoft network
environment Useful to have a minimum of two additional Information Technology Certifications (CCNA, Network +, A+, etc).

Three years in-depth experience setting up and configuring LAN's servers and NT OS. Three years in-depth experience setting up and configuring PC's.

Must exhibit good communication and people skills, good judgment and decision making skills, positive attitude, flexibility, good problem solving and analytical skills.

Must work well under pressure, organized and able to prioritize appropriately, and dependable. Evidence of indepth practical knowledge of computers and related equipment, including micro-computer operating systems (e.g. PC-DOS), Windows, MS Office, hardware and software and Local Area Networks (LANs) with evidence of ability to add on, upgrade, enhance, install, replace and repair as required. Technological and mechanical expertise and understanding of fragile electronics, electricity and electronic circuitry. Proficiency in MS Back Office.
